Microsuction uses a small medical suction device to gently hoover the ear wax out. It is far safer than syringing as no water is being forced into the ear. Also, the procedure is done under high magnification so the clinician can see the minute detail of your ear.
Wax is only produced in the first part of the ear canal where the hairs are. These hairs have two glands at the bottom of each hair which secrete the ear wax. The skin lining the ear canal is being constantly shed and this spirals outwards to mix with the wax and then exits the ear. That process is called the Migratory Process and renders your ear as self-cleaning!
